Prescott Russell Basketball Club
The Prescott Russell Basketball Club (PRBC) is a registered not-for-profit, volunteer sport association promoting a love for the game of basketball in both competitive and recreational settings. Since 1998, PRBC has offered basketball programming to girls and boys aged 5-18 in the Prescott Russell area including Embrun, Limoges, Russell, Casselman, St. Albert, Metcalfe, Winchester, Chesterville, Morewood, and Marionville.
In the beginning, the ROCKETS was a girls-only organization with one competitive team. Today, PRBC has grown to over 450 male and female athletes. PRBC is a member of the Ontario Basketball and is the only Basketball Club within the boundaries of the United Counties of Prescott Russell to offer both competitive and recreational basketball programs. The programs offered include Jr. ROCKETS (ages 5-7); House League (ages 8-16); Competitive (ages 10-18); Spring League (ages 8-16); and a co-ed adult recreational leagues.
VOLUNTEERS - BOARD OF DIRECTORS
PRBC is a volunteer based organization, run by an elected Board of Directors. The role of the Board of Directors is to jointly supervise and implement all it's basketball programs.

Programs cannot run without volunteers! PRBC is always looking for people to help … be it coaching, managing, being a team treasurer, helping a 6 year-old learn how to dribble, the opportunities are endless.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
As a registered, not-for-profit, volunteer run organization, PRBC is required to hold an Annual General Meeting of its members each year.
The President shall give notice to members of the date of the Annual Meeting at least 15 days prior. Notification will be done by the most effective and efficient means available to reach the greatest number of members, using email, social media and the website.
The agenda for the Annual Meeting shall be prepared by the President and cover the following business:
- Adoption of the Minutes of the last meeting;
- Board of Director’s Report;
- Financial Report;
- Special reports requested by the Board of Directors;
- Constitutional amendments;
- Elections of the Board of Directors.
The Annual Meeting date for 2025-26 will be announced in the coming weeks.
