PRBC BURSARY

Celebrating Hard Work, Dedication and Education

2019 PRBC Bursary Recipients - Jake Peters & Sean Roos

The Rockets Grade 12 Bursary celebrates graduating players who have balanced their commitment to school with their involvement in the PRBC/Rockets basketball community. This award is designed to support student-athletes as they take the next step in their academic journey at the post-secondary level.

Applicants must be in their graduating year, planning to attend a recognized post-secondary program, and have maintained a minimum 75% average. Players should also have been involved in a PRBC/Rockets program during their Grade 11 and/or Grade 12 seasons (exceptions may be considered in the case of injury). Relevant documentation, including proof of acceptance and academic standing, must be submitted with the application.

Recipients are selected based on a combination of dedication to the sport and positive involvement within the Rockets program and the community as a whole. The number of bursaries awarded each year will depend on available funding. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection; however, at least one bursary will be awarded to a boys’ player and one to a girls’ player annually.
